Clay finds the signal. Taurus makes the call: which accounts to work this week, why now, and which team owns them.
Six real accounts: two Corsearch customers, three prospects and one hold. Built from public sources for you. On your data it reads your Salesforce book and the signals your Clay tables write into it, and joins what marketing sees with what sales already knows about each account.
Snapshot from public sources gathered 6 October 2026, not a live feed. Owners are Corsearch roles and routes are modelled, not CRM records. The marketing and sales boxes show what each side would typically hold, not your systems. This page records only that it was opened and read to the end, and sends nothing to anyone.
Where it sits
Next to Clay, not instead of it
Clay
Finds and fills the row, and fires signals when something changes: news, new hires, job changes, funding.
Taurus
Sits between the signal and the opportunity. Joins what marketing sees with what sales knows about the account, then decides which accounts need attention this week, which team owns them, and whether to act or hold. Drafts, never sends. Records what was decided and what happened.
Salesforce, Salesloft and Clari
Hold the account, the owner and the deal, run the sequence once someone decides to act, and forecast what is already in the pipeline.
The gap in the middle: a Clay signal fires on an account, and someone still has to decide what it means for Corsearch, which of two teams owns it, whether sales is already in there, and whether to act now or hold. Clari only starts once an opportunity exists. Today that step happens by hand, account by account, or not at all.
Extend the Mondelēz sweep to the ten Costco markets while the Toblerone Biscoff launch is fresh
Mondelēz account manager: Toblerone Diamond Truffles with Biscoff launched on 22 September in ten markets through Costco, Mondelēz’s first global retail partnership with the club. Propose marketplace and social monitoring for the new product in all ten markets this month, framed as cover for a launch they already announced, not a new programme.
Owner: Mondelēz account managerProduct line: brand protection, marketplace and social monitoringPerson: Mark Hodgin, Chief Counsel, Global Trademarks (quoted in your case study; current title to confirm)
Marketing sees · a Clay signalA Clay news signal on the launch: Toblerone with Biscoff in ten markets through Costco, 22 September.
Sales knows · SalesforceA customer. The account manager owns it. Which of the ten markets current monitoring covers, and when it renews.
Taurus decidesOne move for the account manager this month: extend the sweep to the ten launch markets, as cover for a launch they announced. The signal and the scope in one decision.
Mondelēz account manager: confirm which of the ten launch markets current monitoring covers
Mondelēz account manager: draft the extension note to the global trademarks team for review; do not send
To validate: Lotus Bakeries owns Biscoff and may run its own enforcement for the joint product. Current contract scope by market is not public. Owner assignment is modelled.
Take Mexico cover to H&M before &Other Stories opens, and re argue the renewal while sales fall
H&M account manager: &Other Stories opens in Mexico City this autumn through Retail Fashion Group, with an online store and retail partners. Offer watch and marketplace cover for Mexico before opening. Manager: first half sales are down 6.79 percent, so check the renewal date and prepare the value case before procurement asks for it.
Owners: H&M account manager, then the managerProduct line: trademark watch and marketplace enforcement in a new marketPerson: Axel Rahnberg, Legal Counsel (quoted on corsearch.com)
Marketing sees · a Clay signalTwo news signals: &Other Stories opens in Mexico City this autumn, and first half sales are down 6.79 percent.
Sales knows · SalesforceA customer. Whether Mexico is in scope, the renewal date, and what was delivered this year.
Taurus decidesTwo owners on one account: the account manager offers Mexico cover before opening, and the manager prepares the renewal case before procurement asks.
H&M account manager: confirm whether Mexico is in the current watch and enforcement scope
Manager: check the renewal date and the value delivered this year before the next H&M review
To validate: The Mexican partner may handle IP locally. Corsearch’s scope and renewal date for H&M are not public. Owner assignment is modelled.
Open Novo through the counterfeit problem: the new trading name widens what can be imitated
Brand Protection AE, EMEA: Novo Nordisk has traded as Novo since 14 September. In the two weeks after, the FDA warned two websites selling unapproved semaglutide (23 and 24 September), and the US Justice Department charged two men over counterfeit Ozempic from China sold to US distributors (30 September). In May a London court blocked websites selling counterfeit Ozempic. Lead with the counterfeit and online pharmacy problem they already fight, then show what a shorter new trading name does to lookalike domains and listings. Find the head of brand protection or anti counterfeiting before the first email.
Owner: Brand Protection AE, EMEAProduct line: domain monitoring, online pharmacy and marketplace enforcement, watchPerson: not yet identified
Marketing sees · a Clay signalNews signals on the rebrand to Novo on 14 September, the counterfeit Ozempic court block in May, and the counterfeit Ozempic charges on 30 September.
Sales knows · SalesforceNo relationship found publicly. Likely no owner yet and no brand protection contact.
Taurus decidesBrand Protection leads, not Trademark Solutions. The outside in check adds the enforcement record: two FDA warning letters to sites selling unapproved semaglutide since the rebrand. The EMEA AE opens on that and finds the head of brand protection first.
Brand Protection AE, EMEA: identify the head of brand protection or anti counterfeiting at Novo
Brand Protection AE, EMEA: draft an opener on the September enforcement record and the new trading name; do not send
To validate: The legal entity stays Novo Nordisk A/S, so clearance work may be limited. The FDA letters concern unapproved semaglutide, not counterfeit Ozempic, and name no misuse of Novo marks. An incumbent brand protection vendor is likely and not identified. No contact is named. Owner assignment is modelled.
Get in before KDP names two new companies: clearance and a portfolio split before Q1 2027
Trademark Solutions AE, Texas: on 1 October KDP named Russ Torres CEO of its future coffee company, with the separation into two listed companies expected in Q1 2027 after the JDE Peet’s acquisition. Two companies need names, marks cleared across many classes and countries, and the watch portfolio split. Reach the trademark function before the names are chosen.
Owner: Trademark Solutions AE, TexasProduct line: screening, clearance and watch for two new companiesPerson: Russ Torres, incoming CEO, Global Coffee Co; trademark lead not yet identified
Marketing sees · a Clay signalA new hire signal: Russ Torres named CEO of the future coffee company on 1 October. A news signal on the split into two companies by Q1 2027.
Sales knows · SalesforceNo relationship found. Frisco sits in the Texas territory you are hiring an AE for, so today it may have no owner.
Taurus decidesTrademark Solutions leads. The new Texas AE inherits it on day one with the case already argued: two new names to clear before Q1 2027.
Trademark Solutions AE, Texas: identify the trademark lead or general counsel for each future company
Sales manager: put KDP on the new Texas AE’s first list with this decision attached
To validate: Global Coffee Co and Beverage Co are the names used in coverage; whether they are final is not confirmed. Outside counsel may own clearance. Owner assignment is modelled.
Reach the merged firm’s trademark practice while it standardises its tools in year one
Law firm sales lead: Ashurst and Perkins Coie went live as one firm on 29 June, with more than 950 partners across 52 offices. On 1 September the trademark, copyright and advertising practice hired Dan Schnapp in New York; Win Martin co heads it. A merged firm picks one search and watch toolset in its first year. Check the CRM for either legacy firm first, then approach the practice with the Merchant & Gould story.
Owner: Law firm sales leadProduct line: search, screening and watch for a law firmPeople: Win Martin, practice co head; Dan Schnapp, partner, New York
Marketing sees · a Clay signalA new hire signal: Dan Schnapp joins the trademark practice in New York on 1 September. A news signal on the merger going live on 29 June.
Sales knows · SalesforceTwo legacy firms, so possibly two old records, two old owners, and a contract on either side.
Taurus decidesCheck both legacy records before anyone calls, then one owner: the law firm sales lead, on the year one tool decision.
Sales operations: check the CRM for both legacy firms before any outreach
Law firm sales lead: draft a note to Win Martin on year one tool standardisation; do not send
To validate: Either legacy firm may be locked into a multiyear contract. Who owns tooling at the firm is not identified. Owner assignment is modelled.
HOLD Kimberly-Clark and Kenvue until the EU decides on 13 October, and agree one owner first
Viji Krishnan and Matteo Amerio: HOLD all outreach on the combined portfolio until the EU decision on 13 October. Before it lands, agree which Corsearch team owns the combined account and check whether either company is already a customer. Suzana Blades became Kimberly-Clark General Counsel on 1 September; map her once the hold lifts.
HOLD · one owner before anyone calls. Trademark Solutions and Brand Protection agree which team owns the combined account. Preparation only; nothing is sent until the EU decision lands.
Owners: Viji Krishnan, President, Trademark Solutions, and Matteo Amerio, President, Brand and Content ProtectionProduct line: watch and enforcement consolidation across a combined portfolioPerson: Suzana Blades, General Counsel from 1 September
Marketing sees · a Clay signalTwo companies, two sets of signals: the EU decision moved to 13 October, and a new Kimberly-Clark general counsel from 1 September.
Sales knows · SalesforceTwo separate records, possibly two owners in two teams, and either may already be a customer.
Taurus decidesOne decision, not two: hold until 13 October, and Trademark Solutions and Brand Protection agree one owner before anyone calls.
Sales operations: check the CRM for Kimberly-Clark, Kenvue and both legacy owners
Viji Krishnan and Matteo Amerio: agree one owner before 13 October
Owner: prepare the approach and release the hold the day the EU decision lands; do not send
To validate: The EU may extend again or open a full investigation. Either company may already be a customer, which makes this an expansion. The brand list (Kleenex, Huggies, Tylenol, Listerine, Neutrogena, Aveeno) is from public coverage, not the deal terms. Owner assignment is modelled.
What I would build for Corsearch · not running today
A buying moment lane for brand IP
Every account above turned on a moment your buyers live through: a launch, a rebrand, a separation, a merger, a counterfeit fight in court. The lane I would build for your team reads those moments for the whole book every night, and adds the one public signal closest to your product: new trademark filings by a company in new classes or new countries, which usually means clearance and watch work is about to start.
Inputs: your Salesforce book, the signals your Clay tables write into it, and public sources only.
Output: a short list each week per AE and SDR, each account with the dated reason, the product line, the owner and the move.
Record: what was decided, held or rejected, and what happened next, so marketing learns which signals were worth acting on and your CRO can see what the Clay rollout turned into.
Honest status: the trademark filing lane is designed for you and not in the product today. Taurus reads Salesforce read only; it never writes back without a separate, agreed permission, and it never sends.
